Working a car wash can be tough. There’s lots of work to be done. First, you have to get yourself together and meet about what’s lined up for the day.
Usually, there’s one guy doing all the work, and somebody else just goofing off.
It’s all fine until the worker realizes what’s going on…
…And has to give a gentle reminder to the slacker to get back to work.
Not only is he a motivator, he’s a teacher, showing the correct way to get the bucket filled.
And his student proves that he can work hard too!!
Supervisor comes back to check on things. Yep, all is well.
But on warm, sunny days, it’s hard not to get distracted…
…And play a little more…
…Until you get caught by your supervisor again, with another reminder to get back on task!
After careful consideration, it was determined that the reason for lack of hard work & initiative was aversion to company uniform. After the new policy was implemented, all were able to put in a good day’s work at the wash!

Love the story of Workin' at the Car Wash. Maybe you should write a book. (; They can wash my car anytime, just as long as they leave their clothes on.
