Daddy Got Creative with the Sprinkler

Ok, let me just say that I really do, way deep down, love some cool weather. But my cool means like, high of 70's. This 20 degree night and 40 degree day business is just ridiculous. I don't think I could hack it somewhere where it really gets cold & snows & all that garbage. However, we decided if it was gonna be cold, we might as well have fun with it (not to mention keep our pipes from freezing!) Here's the end result from last night (which the boys have dubbed "icy trees," how cute!)

We were really hoping that the moss and branches would collect so much ice and get so heavy that the big branch would just fall from all the weight and save us some energy trimming this spring...just kidding...kind of...well, maybe we were just a little serious, but it doesn't matter because it didn't happen.

And I can't help but point out that if you sing the title of this post, it goes quite nicely with the tune of "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer." There you go, fun fact for your Monday. Have a great week!
